Known for it's rich history and recent growth, Kennesaw has become one of the metro area's most popular places to raise a family. With fantastic schools and friendly neighbors, it's no wonder Family Circle designated Kennesaw one of it's "10 Best Towns for Families". While there are only around 30,000 people within the city limits, there are over 70,000 people within a three-mile radius of the city.

This season, as many as 25% of our friends and neighbors will find themselves in need...that's 17,500 people. This number includes single-parent families, those living below the poverty line, and those who've recently lost their jobs. In many cases, these families, despite their hard work, are unable to make ends meet. Becoming aware of this need, we couldn't help but ask the question: 'What could happen if an entire community dared to 'do Christmas' differently?"

This Christmas, we're excited to announce the first-ever HOPECity 'Sale' - taking place Saturday, December 22nd. Over the next few weeks, we'll be collecting gently used clothes (all seasons), shoes, purses, and small toys to distribute to those in need. Because of the incredible need in our community, our goal is to bring in 15,000 items from December 3rd-19th. Click here to donate your gently-worn items.

The HOPECity 'Sale' will be the biggest one-day give-back our city has ever seen. We anticipate giving away over $75,000 worth of clothes, shoes, and more to those in need. Every item will be absolutely free and each participant can collect (up to) five items. Click here to RSVP!
